The Lionverge Board of Directors is committed to minimising negative environmental impacts whilst maximising the environmental benefits of its activities. This is achieved by continually improving the environmental management processes within the Integrated Management System. To meet this obligation, the management system will comply with the requirements of EN ISO:14001:1996
The IMS enables the company to identify the aspects and to manage the impacts in accordance with current Legislation and Regulations.
The key aims of this company are to:
· Reduce the consumption of energy and water
· Reduce the quantity of waste it delivers to landfill
· Reduce the impact on ecology and the landscape
· Promote and share good environmental practice
· Raise environmental awareness for all of its employees
The Directors will set targets and objectives and measure achievement and evaluate their effectiveness throughout the business.
Environmental Objectives 2006:
· Work towards EN ISO14001:1996 certification.
· To implement a programme of environmental awareness training
· Incorporate environmental management systems into a fully integrated audit process
